Elements of Infinity
Location: The restaurant would be situated on a cliff, overlooking the bioluminescence beach in the Andamans, which opens to the infinte horizon.
Optical Illusion: The restaurant is entered through a tunnel which leads to the second floor of the restaurant. This walkway has lights at the end, creating an optical illusion.
Autonomy in service: The space gives the experience of the omnipresent infinity represented through a central conveyor belt that brings food from the kitchen, giving a sense of autonomy to the service. This experience is further enhanced in the hospitality of the staff which is presented as a performance art.
Observatory: The second floor acts as an observatory where the guests can view the sunset, where the night sky meets the bioluminescence ocean across the horizon. This opens the space to the infinite night sky.
Auditory mimicry: This space includes an artificial waterfall to generate the sound of waves, bringing the outside in.
Accent Lighting: The seating on the ground floor is dimly lit to enhance the sensorial experience. The restaurant's centrepiece light is shaped like the glowing plankton in the ocean at night, that resembles an endless eye upon viewing it from under.
